FINANCE ASSISTANT £25,000 - £30,000pa Nottingham, NG9 - Office based 2pm finish on Fridays Full time, Temporary - 3 - 6 monthsKEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure accuracy of purchase ledger entries and integrity of the AP aging report. - Assist with the processing of AP transactions as needed. - Prepare weekly payment proposals for management approval. - Email vendor remittances for payments raised. - Ensure accuracy of AR aging. - Lead the collections process for accounts receivable ensure timely payment of AR debts. - Email customer statements for outstanding debts. - Daily update of bank transactions for various bank accounts. - Weekly reconciliation of the bank accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience within a finance function, have a strong knowledge of accounting practices and a keen eye for detail.
