Building Safety Consultant - London BasedSalary: 56,000 - 64,000 per annum, depending on experienceAdditional: 4,000 London weighting for candidates whose principal residence is within a London boroughLocation: London, with UK-wide travel as requiredThe RoleAn established professional consultancy is seeking a Building Safety Consultant to join its specialist team.The successful candidate will undertake a critical, client-facing role, providing professional advice and support to organisations responsible for the safety and compliance of high-rise residential buildings across the UK.The role will involve working closely with clients to assess existing arrangements, identify areas for improvement and support the development and ongoing maintenance of robust building safety management arrangements in line with the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated regulatory requirements.The position will involve regular UK-wide travel to client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake detailed building analysis and assessments, producing clear and comprehensive reports containing findings and recommendations.Review and assess client documentation relating to health and safety, fire safety and wider Safety Management Systems.Conduct building safety gap analyses and identify areas requiring improvement or further control.Develop and review health and safety and fire safety management systems.Prepare draft policies, procedures, processes and risk mitigation strategies.Support clients with the ..... full job details .....
