Group Credit Manager - £50.000 - £60.000 - Slough - hybridRole OverviewThe Group Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing the organisation''s credit control strategy across multiple entities or regions. This role ensures effective management of credit risk, optimises cash flow, and leads the credit control team to deliver consistent and timely collections while maintaining strong customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Risk ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain group-wide credit policies and proceduresAssess and approve credit limits, ensuring alignment with company risk appetiteMonitor customer creditworthiness using financial data, credit reports, and payment trendsMitigate exposure to bad debt through proactive risk analysis and controlsAccounts Receivable and CollectionsOversee the end-to-end credit control function across the groupEnsure timely collection of outstanding invoices and reduction of debtor days (DSO)Manage escalation processes for overdue accounts, including legal action where necessaryProduce regular aged debt reports with clear commentary and action plansTeam LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the credit control team across multiple locationsSet performance targets and KPIs, conducting regular reviewsDrive a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvementStakeholder ManagementPartner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to balance commercial growth with risk managementAct as a key point of contact for
