Job title: Production Operative
Job type: Temporary (for around 2-3 months)
Location: Hitchin
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm & Friday, 8am-1pm
Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour
 
Our well known client based in Hitchin are looking for a Temporary Production Operative to support their Factory team for a short term basis. The successful candidate must have a strong background within a Manufacturing & Production environment, with strong dexterity skills and ability to learn & adapt to new skills quickly.
 
Main duties as a Production Operative:
- Electro-Plating manufactured components along the production process
- Reading & understanding engineering drawings 
- Jig & wire parts during busy periods
- Quality inspection upon all finalised production 
- Manoeuvring heavy loads around the workshop 
 
What''s required for this role:
- A strong background within Manufacturing/Production environments
- Ability to read & understand technical drawings
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Strong eye for detail and good dexterity
