Management Accountant

Fantastic new opportunity for an estanlished client. (12 month maternity contract, Disbury)(Hybrid: after initial training, 2 days office and 3 at home) Job Purpose To assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reconciliations of daily, weekly and monthly financial transactions and to provide administrative support and assist with any other ad-hoc financial related duties within a developing Finance Department. Key Accountabilities: To complete: Preparation of the monthly management accounts packs for 7 global companies Reconcile balance sheet accounts by companyPrepare financial statements including consolidated group accountsFinancial analysis to prepare PandL accounts by countryPrepare WIP calculation by companyIncome statement reviewAccruals and prepaymentsNominal postings review Stock and sales order process management Stock takeIntercompany invoicing Bank guaranteesVAT returnsAudit preperation To carry out any other ad hoc reporting/tasks as required by the management team To carry out general and ad hoc administration when necessary. To take shared responsibility for self-development and to identify training and resources required to support ongoing performance improvement. Qualifications/Experience: Over 5 years experience working in a financial environment up to the preparation of monthly management accounting/reconciliations.Part qualified accounting qualification required.
