Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Location: Disley Salary: £55,000 Hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off ( 7), followed by 18 days off What You ll Be Doing Keeping the site running smoothly with preventative and reactive electrical maintenance. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including 3-phase AC, motors, pumps, conveyors, and fans. Supporting improvement projects, shutdowns, and machinery upgrades. Working safely at all times LOTO, risk assessments, and permit-to-work procedures are key. Partnering with production to boost reliability and efficiency. Working with external contractors to complete maintenance tasks safely and effectively. What We re Looking For Apprentice trained Strong manufacturing background. Experience with DC motors and drives. Basic mechanical knowledge and the confidence to tackle simple mechanical tasks. Familiarity with DCS/PLC systems for fault finding and routine testing.
