The school is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and play a key role in supporting students who are unable to access mainstream education due to medical, social, or behavioural challenges.This provision works closely with young people to help them re-engage with learning, develop social and emotional skills, and make positive steps towards transitioning back into a mainstream setting. Every day is different, and the rewards of seeing student progress are significant.What We''re Looking For NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or substantial experience supporting young people with SEMH needs Ideally, experience working with students with Autism, communication difficulties, or behavioural needs in either a professional or personal capacity A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
