We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a dynamic organisation on a temporary basis. This role is office-based in Surrey and offers a hands-on opportunity to ensure the efficient operation of the accounts payable function. Working closely with the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be integral during a crucial transition period for the finance department.Day-to-day of the role:Accurately process supplier invoices and credit notes.Manage a shared AP inbox, ensuring invoices are logged and processed promptly.Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice queries and match purchase orders.Support with troubleshooting system issues and data discrepancies.Monitor Direct Debits and Standing Orders, ensuring invoices are approved prior to payment.Maintain and update the AP query log, resolving outstanding items.Reconcile supplier accounts against statements.Provide support during a recent finance system migration and ongoing system stabilisation.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 2 years'' experience within an Accounts Payable or finance role.Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.Experience working with finance systems; M
