Cygnet Acer Clinic is a 28 bed service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs or acute mental health needs.Care is provided in a therapeutic environment, with a level of security matched to individual needs. The aim of the treatment, rehabilitation and re-socialisation programme is to prepare the people in our care either for transfer to conditions of lesser security, or for a life in the community.Your Day-to-Day:• Prepare, cook and serve nutritional, balanced and appetising meals for patients, staff and visitors• Liaise with nursing colleagues to meet patients'' nutritional and dietary needs• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas and dining room• Supervise kitchen staff when deputising for the Head Chef• Maintain personal hygiene to comply with Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulations• Handle, maintain and store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures• Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.Youare:• A skilled chef, preferably with experience
