Your new company You will be joining a leading consultancy working across a major UK rail infrastructure programme. Due to ongoing commercial requirements, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support a Rolling Stock and Depots package from either Birmingham or London.Your new role You will take responsibility for day-to-day commercial and contractual activities across the package, including:NEC3/NEC4 contract administrationApplications for paymentCompensation event managementChange controlCommercial correspondenceCost forecasting and reportingCost validation and verificationRisk and opportunity managementCommercial assuranceProcurement and tender support where requiredClaims management and dispute avoidanceFinal account managementContract close-outWhat you''ll need to succeed You will need demonstrable Quantity Surveying/commercial management experience and strong knowledge of NEC contracts.Previous experience within Rolling Stock, rail depots or a related rail environment would be highly desirable but is not essential.
