Job Title: Principal ILS andamp; Obsolescence Engineer Location: New Malden 2 days remainder remote Duration: 2-3 months with possible extension Rate: Market rates As a Principal ILS andamp; Obsolescence Engineer, you will contribute the ongoing development and growth of ILS andamp; Obsolescence within the clients programmes. You will have the chance to work on prestigious maritime programmes that significantly contribute to the future of UK Defence. Reporting to an ILS andamp; Obsolescence Lead and contributing as a key member of the ILS andamp; Obsolescence team, you will provide key skills and competencies in order to successfully deliver their complex products. You will be looked upon to provide expertise and coaching to the existing team whilst representing ILS andamp; Obsolescence to our Stakeholders. Responsibilities:Drive ILS process on programmesProvide ILS subject matter expertise to Engineering programmesCustomer relationship developmentILS oversight and check at all stages of the product-life cycleTechnical management of suppliersWe are looking for:Proven experience, with Extensive ILS andamp; Obsolescence Engineering methods and techniquesDegree qualified or equivalent experience in relevant engineering subjectExceptional people and communication skillsExternal customer andamp; supplier relationship management experienceAptitude for people leadership and team management
