Director of Sales
to take ownership of our sales function and drive revenue growth across MICE, corporate, leisure, and wedding markets.This is a key leadership role where you’ll shape the hotel’s sales strategy, foster strong client relationships, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.About the Role
As Director of Sales, you will:Take full responsibility for delivering on revenue targets across MICE, corporate, leisure, and wedding business.
Lead and inspire the Sales and Meetings and Events team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Secure new business opportunities through proactive sales campaigns, client engagement, and networking.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and local business networks.
Manage key accounts and develop new corporate relationships.
Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Group Director of Sales, and Group Marketing team to execute commercial plans.
Ensure effective use of CRM systems and deliver best-in-class client experiences during site visits and events.
What We’re Looking For
A minimum of
3 years’ experience in a senior hotel sales role , ideally within the MICE, corporate, or wedding market.
Strong knowledge of current trends in hotel sales and marketing.
Proven leadership ability, with a proactive and strategic approach.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
