Job Title: DevOps Consultant Location: Hybrid - Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits Contract Type: Permanent Overview: Our client is seeking a DevOps Consultant to join its team delivering user-centred solutions for clients in government and regulated sectors. This is a hands-on, collaborative role focused on automation, simplicity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead incident response, triage, and stakeholder communication during outages Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery Collaborate with clients to understand their environments and tooling Contribute to internal DevOps communities and knowledge sharing Champion best practices in automation, cloud-native engineering, and agile delivery Deliver services in line with UK Government Digital Service (GDS) standards Essential Skills andamp; Experience: Strong background in DevOps engineering and automation Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP) Familiarity with delivering services to GDS standards Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Active SC Clearance is required Additional Information: Hybrid working model with flexibility across client sites, hubs, and home Inclusive, collaborative team culture Excellent training budget and career development support Please forward your CV in the first instance.
