Salary of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Mobile HGV Fitter / Plant Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Technician / Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter:      £20.00 - £25.00 ph plus overtime 

Hours :       Monday to Friday Days 

My client, a Waste and Recycling Company, are looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician / Fitter to join their team at one of their depots based near Tonbridge.

Duties of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Mobile HGV Fitter / Plant Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Technician / Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter:

• Diagnose Commercial Vehicles
• Service and Repair a wide variety of vehicles across the fleet
• Tacho calibrations, repairs, and wheel alignment
• Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices
• Maintain the fleet of HGV
• Develop your existing skills to support their specialist assets

Requirements of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Mobile HGV Fitter / Plant Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Technician / Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter:

• HGV or Plant Technical qualification - NVQ, City and Guilds or Equivalent (Time Served considered)
• HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable
• Full UK Drivers Licence 
• Experience working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industry
• Excellent customer service
• Team player whilst also able to work effectively on your own
