A well-established Winchester cost consultancy is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team. The successful Quantity Surveyor will work across Residential, Retail and Leisure projects throughout Hampshire and the wider South.The Quantity Surveyor''s RoleThe Quantity Surveyor will manage a varied workload covering new-build, refurbishment and fit-out schemes, supporting projects from early budgeting through to final account.Working closely with private clients, developers, architects and contractors, the Quantity Surveyor will provide practical cost advice, maintain financial control and help shape procurement decisions throughout each commission.This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys working across different project types and wants more ownership within a smaller consultancy environment. The Quantity Surveyor will gain direct client exposure and have a clear route towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level.The Quantity SurveyorDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similarUK PQS / consultancy experienceStrong pre- and post-contract knowledgeResidential, Retail or Leisure experienceConfident with cost planning and tenderingExperience with valuations and final accountsGood knowledge of JCT contractsMRICS or working towards chartershipStrong client-facing communicationCommercially aware and organisedComfortable managing projects independentlyIn Return 55,000 - 60,000 per annumWinchester-based positionResidential, Retail and Leisure ..... full job details .....
