Procurement Analyst
A market-leading FMCG/distribution business require a Procurement Analyst. Applicants should have expertise in MS Excel, Power BI and ideally Microsoft Dynamics and experience analysing data, presenting insights and storytelling. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for developing procurement systems, reports, dashboards and KPIs to optimise inventory/stock holdings, and drive effective procurement and commercial decision-making. The business operate a strong hybrid working policy. Specific duties of the Procurement Analyst include:Produce and manage reports, including stock availability, profiling, brand and supplier informationAnalysis of customer forecast, inventory holdings, supplier capacity and brand performance dataStorytelling to stakeholders and colleagues - sharing your insights to help them shape procurement/inventory/forecasting/commercial strategyBuild relationships with colleagues across; purchasing, logistics and warehousing - ensure optimal stock and correct stock profiles availableData cleansing activities Procurement Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:Experience using MS Excel (intermediate-to-advanced Level), Power BI and Microsoft DynamicsAn appreciation/understanding of procurement, inventory management, demand planning or forecasting is advantageousAbility to create dashboards, reports, KPIs, systems and storytellingStrong data analysis skillsExcellent communicator, team player and relationship builder.
