Our client, a well-established Tier 2 Civil Engineering Contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the civil engineering package for a major industrial development in Pontefract. The project involves the construction of a large-scale industrial premises, including a significant 10m civil engineering and infrastructure package comprising roads, drainage, utilities, external works, earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, and associated infrastructure. This is a fast-paced project environment where strong leadership, programme management, and stakeholder coordination skills will be essential. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the delivery of the civil engineering and infrastructure package from commencement through to completion.Oversee site teams, subcontractors, engineers and supply chain partners.Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.Develop and maintain project programmes, short-term lookaheads and progress reports.Manage client relationships and attend regular project and stakeholder meetings.Monitor commercial performance alongside the commercial team.Identify and mitigate project risks while driving productivity and programme performance.Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental and quality standards.Coordinate interfaces between the civils package and the main build contractor.Candidate RequirementsProven ..... full job details .....
