Our client, a leader in defence and aerospace technology, is seeking a Marine Engineering Submarine (MESM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team in Berkshire. This role is pivotal in modernising the training and preparation of the armed forces through advanced technology and a blended learning approach. The position is offering a balance between remote work and on-site responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the wider team to analyse, design, and produce DSAT documentation and processesInterview subject matter experts to gather required data and participate in internal workshopsWork with customers and suppliers to identify and obtain technical data for courseware and media developmentContextualise training and language with courseware and media content developersConduct upkeep, update, and revalidation of course technical dataIdentify opportunities to improve training methods and mediaPromote a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliancePerform other duties to complete the CMDC Training ServiceJob Requirements:Proven at-sea experience as a Category A or B Nuclear watchkeeperUnderstanding of DSAT courseware and media developmentExperience with training requirements, design, or deliveryStrong electrical backgroundExperience as a member of a boat build crew is desirableFamiliarity with Defence Equipment and Support (DEandS) or Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA)Benefits:Competitive salary packages25 days holiday plus public holidays, with op
