Mechanical Supervisor Opportunity – Central London – Life Sciences

We are working with a highly respected M&E contractor that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex commercial, healthcare and life sciences projects across the UK. Following the award of several major schemes, they are looking to appoint a Mechanical Supervisor to strengthen their site delivery team on this landmark development.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the mechanical installation, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising mechanical trades teams and specialist subcontractors on site.
• Coordinating daily activities to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
• Monitoring quality standards and ensuring works comply with project specifications.
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health & safety across site.
• Carrying out site inspections and assisting with QA processes.
• Liaising with the Project Manager, site management team and other disciplines.
• Managing labour resources and resolving site issues as they arise.
• Supporting commissioning and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale M&E projects.
• Experience delivering commercial, healthcare or life sciences projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services installations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS or SSSTS and relevant mechanical qualifications preferred.
