JOB DESCRIPTION

POST TITLE: Lecturer - Plumbing
LOCATION: Buckinghamshire
HOURS: 35 hours per week
CONTRACT: Full Time
SALARY: -37,200 - -41,880 per annum

JOB PURPOSE:
To deliver high-quality teaching in Plumbing, supporting learners to develop the technical skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful careers in the construction industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching in Plumbing
• Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons
• Use innovative teaching methods to support student engagement and achievement
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students in developing technical and employability skills
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement
• Complete administrative duties to support learner success
• Contribute to curriculum delivery and continuous improvement

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• Relevant industry experience in Plumbing
• Level 2 minimum qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passion for teaching and supporting learners
