We are a way of life.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Head of HR will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering the people agenda across the business. Responsible for leading the People Partnering team, Payroll, Admin, Recruitment, and Learning and Development functions, this role ensures that our people strategy supports both our commercial goals and our commitment to providing an exceptional employee experience.The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR leader with strong employee relations expertise, proven ability to manage HR operations in complex environments, and a background in retail and/or hospitality.Competitive Salary.This role is based at our office at the Daylesford Farm

Gloucestershire.RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic LeadershipPartner with the Executive Team to align HR strategy with business goals, supporting growth and ensuring a high-performance culture.Lead and inspire the HR function, ensuring effective collaboration across Business Partnering, Payroll, Recruitment, and Learning and Development.Drive organisational change initiatives, ensuring people impacts are managed smoothly and effectively.Employee RelationsAct as the senior point of contact for complex employee relations matters, ensuring cases are managed with fairness, consistency, and in line with employment law and best practice.Provide expert advice to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams on ER risks and strategies.Build capability across managers to handle performance, capability, and conduct issues confidently.Talent and RecruitmentOversee recruitment strategy to ensure we attract, select, and retain the very best talent, with a focus on skills, behaviours, and cultural fit.Provide strategic direction for hard to fill and specialist roles, including senior-level recruitment.Drive initiatives to strengthen employer brand, particularly in the luxury retail and hospitality markets.Learning and DevelopmentEnsure the LandD strategy develops leaders and employees at all levels, building clear career pathways and succession planning.Champion leadership and management development, embedding a culture of continuous learning and growth.Payroll and HR OperationsProvide oversight of payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.Ensure HR processes and policies are fit for purpose, compliant with legislation, and embedded consistently across the business.Deliver insights through HR metrics and reporting to support decision making.Culture and EngagementAct as a role model for company values, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.Partner with leaders to embed engagement strategies that drive retention, development, and performance.SKILLS YOU WILL BRINGProven senior HR leadership experience within retail, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle brands.Strong track record in managing complex employee relations and organisational change.Experience leading multi-functional HR teams, including Business Partners, Recruitment, Payroll, and LandD.Commercially astute with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational delivery.Strong knowledge of UK employment law, tribunals and HR best practice.Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.Resilient, pragmatic, and solutions focused.PERKS AND BENEFITSDiscounts: We offer a range of discounts on our products, treatments, and diningexperiences from day one.Volunteering Days: Employees are offered one paid day per year to volunteer with acharity of their choice.Private Medical: We offer subsidised private medical insurance through Bupa.Pension Scheme: Pay up to 9% of your salary into your pension each month; wecontribute up to 4.5%.Life Assurance: We offer life assurance cover, equivalent of up to a year of your annual salary.Mental Health Support: Our Employee Assistance Programme provides 24-hour support, seven days a week.
