This is far more than a standard design role - the successful candidate will work closely with the Birmingham Structures Director, take ownership of projects and have genuine scope to help shape the team, develop the Birmingham office and progress towards Director level. The role offers significant responsibility across project delivery, technical design, client liaison, team development and business development. It would suit an engineer who enjoys combining strong technical ability with leadership, commercial awareness and the opportunity to build something.Candidates should have recent structural engineering consultancy experience in the Midlands and be Chartered or close to Chartered, with MICE or MIStructE.
