CONTRACT BUYER Contract, Immediate start available Hours - Monday - Friday (half day Friday) premium O/T rate Innovative manufacturer is looking for a talented contract Buyer to support some of their key projects.It will be a varied Purchasing role with responsibility for direct purchasing within manufacture supporting the team to procure day to day items across a mechanical / electromechanical commodity range for production, from mechanical components / assemblies including machined and fabricated items through to cables. Key accountabilities for contract Buyer will include: Supporting the Lead Buyer to purchasing shop floor itemsPlacing purchase orders for a defined range of suppliers, using the SAP / MRP / ERP system Ensure lowest overall cost of acquisition.Ensure suppliers deliver product to agreed delivery dates.
