to join their successful

Cardiology department .Our client is one of the leading interventional cardiology units in the United Kingdom, with a national and international profile for service, innovation, and research. They serve a regional population of 2.8 million in Yorkshire and perform over 1,000 primary PCI procedures annually, with around 2,300 PCI procedures in total. The trans-catheter valve intervention service, led by a renowned consultant, performs approximately 400 TAVI procedures annually. A percutaneous mitral valve leaflet repair service is established and has recently received NHS commissioning approval.Leeds is at the forefront of innovation, research, and education in trans-catheter valve intervention. The department includes 9 Yorkshire-based interventional cardiology consultants, with 3 providing the trans-catheter valve service supported by a Fellow and 3 Nurse Specialists. Additionally, 10 visiting coronary interventionists contribute to the PPCI rota.The successful appointee will be expected to:Contribute to the delivery, development, and expansion of the trans-catheter valve intervention service in Yorkshire, which has seen a 250% increase in TAVI procedures since 2016, with ongoing growth of 20-25% annually.Contribute to the delivery of the urgent and emergency coronary intervention service, including 24/7 primary PCI, working with colleagues in the interventional cardiology team.Maintain current on-call duties and work with the team to deliver acute care for patients with ischemic heart disease, including acute ward rounds and inpatient care.Participate in research, teaching, and development activities within the department, with encouragement to contribute to ongoing clinical research programs.Our client offers a location with excellent transport links to cities like Birmingham and Leeds, with access to international airports, attractive towns, villages, and a high standard of schools.Additional Information:Will consider full-time or part-time applicants10 P.A.sPrestigious NHS TrustSupportive and friendly teamMust have GMC RegistrationIf you are a
