ob Vacancy: Logistics Manager Location: South Kensington, London Project Duration: 38 weeks Position: Full-time, site-based Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to oversee all site logistics for a 38-week construction project in South Kensington. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics operation, coordinating site personnel, controlling deliveries and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials, plant and equipment around the site. A key part of this role will be maintaining accurate and up-to-date site records and ensuring that all paperwork required by the Project Manager (PM) is completed correctly and submitted on time. Particular attention must be given to delivery notices, delivery records and the accurate coordination of incoming deliveries. Key Responsibilities Site Logistics and Team Management Oversee and manage the day-to-day site logistics operation. Directly manage two site gangers, each responsible for a team of two labourers. Manage and supervise the Traffic Marshal, who will report directly to the Logistics Manager. Ensure all operatives understand their duties and carry them out safely and efficiently. Coordinate the movement, unloading, distribution and storage of materials across the site. Maintain good housekeeping, clear access routes and safe working areas.
