Staffline is recruiting a Food Production Operative to work at our client''s busy site, a meat processing plant in Colne. Successful Candidates will be responsible for handling and packaging pork products. The rate of pay starts from £12.21 per hour. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. Your Time at Work As a Food Production Operative at this site, you will be working in a chilled environment. Your duties include: - Packing meat products into boxes and trays - Including Pork, Beef and Lamb - Weighing products - Labelling items - Stacking items in preparation for orders Please note there will be manual handling and heavy lifting involved in this role. Vacancies are in the pork and beef department. Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Food Production Operative is reliable, can work to targets and deadlines, and is flexible in their approach to work. You will be a strong communicator and will work well alone as well as part of a team. Some manual handling will be involved in this role, up to 20-25 kg, so you must be comfortable with this. Workers must be able to handle meat, including pork, beef and lamb. No experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided on-site.
