OverviewMotor Vehicle Tutor - Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Motor Vehicle Tutor to work at an Alternative Provision in Derby City, starting ASAP and lasting indefinitely. Ideally this will be a temporary-to-permanent position, with the successful candidate on supply for 12 weeks before transferring onto a permanent contract. Pay is between 20 to 30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.ResponsibilitiesTeach Motor Vehicle techniques in the workshop to BTEC Level 2 and 3 students.Work with students to develop practical and theoretical motor vehicle skills.Be prepared to support assessment activities while at the ProvisionParticipate in development opportunities and CPD initiatives offered by Tradewind and The National College.Qualifications and ExperienceHas a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicles.Has experience teaching Motor Vehicles (ideal but not necessary).Has a Level 3 or above teaching qualification or a willingness to learn.Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.CV must cover the full CV history.Legal right to work in the UK.Location and BenefitsLocated in Derby City with easy access by bus or train and onsite parking.
