The business has a strong reputation for customer service and technical excellence and plays a key role in supporting the UK s transition to a low-carbon future.The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic insight. This role is critical in providing accurate financial and commercial information, delivering statutory accounts, and managing a smooth audit process.Finance is currently outsourced to an external provider. A key element of the role will be to help plan and implement the in-housing of finance operations, including the rollout of new systems Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and Reporting Lead monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with FRS101.Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimisation. Stock and Inventory Control Oversee inventory accounting for solar panels, batteries, and installation materials to ensure compliance with GAAP.Collaborate with operational teams to implement robust controls for stock movement, valuation, and reconciliation.
