Salary: Up to £51,329 per annum (inclusive of market allowance) + annual retention payment

We are looking for a dedicated Experienced Social Worker & Social Worker / Child and Family Practitioner to work proactively with children and families requiring statutory intervention. Using the Signs of Safety model, you will implement child-in-need or child protection plans, aiming to safely step families down or escalate to legal proceedings when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload, conduct assessments, create SMART plans, and prepare reports for meetings, conferences, and court proceedings.
• Work directly with children and families to understand their lived experiences, wishes, and needs, applying relationship- and strengths-based practice.
• Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and council procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and professional standards.

What We''re Looking For:

• Competence in all areas of the PCF at Social Worker level and Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for approved child and family practitioners.
• Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills; non-judgemental, consistent, focused, and resourceful.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with legislation, research, and best practice.
