Assistant Store Manager - Luxury Retail

Location: Central London
Salary: Up to -35,000 plus monthly bonus
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

C2 Recruitment is recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to join a luxury retail environment in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail professional to take the next step within a premium, customer-focused setting.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the store, lead the team in their absence and help drive both sales performance and exceptional customer experience.

The Role

* Support the overall management of the store and lead the team when required
* Drive sales through coaching, motivation and leading by example
* Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
* Ensure the store is well presented, fully stocked and operating efficiently
* Monitor daily sales performance and communicate updates to the team
* Delegate tasks effectively to maximise productivity
* Support team development, encouraging strong product knowledge and selling skills
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
* Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security

What We''re Looking For

* Previous experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role
* Strong sales focus with a track record of achieving targets
* A confident and hands-on leadership style
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Comfortable working within a fast-paced luxury or premium retail environment

Working Hours

* 37.5 hours per week
* 5 days out of 6 on a Monday to Saturday rota
* Daytime hours, approximately 9:00am - 5:30pm
* Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays
