Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEND
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports individual learning needs
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to support pupil engagement and progress
- Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to provide consistent support
- Monitor pupil progress and adjust planning where necessary
- Support pupils'' social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children with additional needs
- Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practices
- Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching
- Confident managing behaviour in a calm and supportive manner
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential
