Payroll and Pensions Manager
We are working on behalf of a highly regarded organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll and Pension Manager to join their finance function on a permanent basis.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will lead a small payroll team and take ownership of multiple in-house payrolls, while playing a key role in team development and continuous improvement during an exciting period of change.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee four in-house payrolls (two weekly and two monthly)Lead, support and develop a small payroll team, ensuring high performance and engagementProvide hands-on payroll expertise while maintaining strong controls and complianceSupport the team through upcoming organisational and payroll-related changeIdentify, recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracyAct as a key point of contact for payroll and pension-related queries and escalationsAbout YouA strong people manager with proven experience leading and developing payroll teamsExtensive technical, in-house payroll experienceDemonstrable experience delivering process improvements within payrollConfident operating in a changing environment with a collaborative, solutions-focused approachBenefits35-hour working weekFlexible working hours and flexibility around office days25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysHybrid working model (3 days per week in the London office)Strong focus on wellbeing, including access to various wellbeing classesFree and discounted t
