Pay: 16.00- 16.50 per hour Job Description: Delta Personnel are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Shunter Driver to work Monday to Thursday, 12.30 to 22.00 and Friday 12.30 to 18.00. For the initial training period, 1 to 2 weeks, you be on the AM shift of Monday, 6.00 to 15.30 and Friday 6.00 to 12.00. This is a Lancing based, on-going temporary assignment to start immediately. The Role: Shunting trailers and vehicles around the site safely and efficiently Manoeuvring vehicles into loading and parking bays Coupling and uncoupling trailers Carrying out vehicle safety checks Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams Following all site, road safety and health and safety procedures Keeping the yard organised and ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly Working to strict schedules and operational deadlines You''ll also be required to assist with loading and unloading to the warehouse so physical fitness is essential for this role.
