Job Description:

• Deliveringandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;play-basedandnbsp;andandnbsp;structured lessonsandnbsp;in line with theandnbsp;KS1 National Curriculum
• Creating aandnbsp;stimulating classroom environmentandnbsp;that supportsandnbsp;early literacy,andnbsp;numeracy, andandnbsp;social development
• Usingandnbsp;continuous assessmentandnbsp;to track progress and tailor learning to individual needs
• Supportingandnbsp;phonics developmentandnbsp;through systematic programmes such asandnbsp;Read Write Inc.andnbsp;orandnbsp;Letters and Sounds
• Working closely withandnbsp;teaching assistants,andnbsp;parents, andandnbsp;colleaguesandnbsp;to ensure every child thrives
• Contributing toandnbsp;whole-school events,andnbsp;assemblies, andandnbsp;enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 (desirable but not essential)
• Be passionate aboutandnbsp;early childhood educationandnbsp;andandnbsp;child development
• Demonstrate strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiation strategies
• Be committed toandnbsp;raising standardsandnbsp;andandnbsp;nurturing a love of learning
• Embrace aandnbsp;growth mindsetandnbsp;and value ongoingandnbsp;CPD
• Be confident usingandnbsp;interactive learning toolsandnbsp;andandnbsp;technology in the classroom
