Production Packer

Location: Barking
Pay: -12.99 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts

• Week 1: 7:00am - 2:15pm
• Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  Contract: Full-time

Omnia Resourcing is recruiting Production Packers to join a busy food manufacturing operation in Barking.

Previous production, packing or food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

• Pack food products to required quality and customer standards.
• Operate packing machinery, conveyors and sealing equipment.
• Check labels, date codes and batch information.
• Carry out quality checks and remove damaged products.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, GMP and allergen procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe production area.
• Complete production and waste records.
• Wear all required PPE.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The role involves standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks and manual handling. You may work in chilled, ambient or warm production areas.
