The team works alongside colleagues across the Councils, external partner organisations, and the public to ensure the Councils fulfil their obligations under the Civil Contingences Act. You''ll play a direct role in keeping both the Councils and the boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth ready to respond and recover should the worst happen. With an area that stretches from the centre of London to its edges, you''ll have a diverse range of risks and emergencies to prepare for, making for a varied and interesting workload, with plenty of new challenges and projects to get involved in. About the role Reporting to the Senior Emergency Planning Officer, your day-to-day work will involve: designing and delivering training and exercises reviewing and improving response plans collaborating with external organisations such as the emergency services and other emergency planners from across London working with local voluntary sector organisations to build community resilience helping t
