The role of the OHN is to implement the agreed policies, practices, and health programs in all aspects of Occupational Health services including ensuring quality medicals are performed, suitable referrals are made to the doctors and other professionals such as medical technicians, effective communications are given to managers and data is stored collected in an appropriate manner. Provide medical emergency assistance and treatment as appropriated to the patient. Comply with the professional code of standards and behaviour as set out by the nursing and midwifery council (NMC) keep his/her pin up to date. Experience in an Occupational Health setting is desirable; however, transferable skills, relevant experience, and knowledge will be considered.
