We seek an experienced Quality Inspector for our busy manufacturing facility in Lancing, you will be joining a team who work on a rotation basis ( 6.55 to 14:55 and 14:45 to 22:45) the succesful candidate must be able to rotate with the shift pattern You role will be to: •Support the Quality department and production team in the day-to-day operation of the facilioty and production plan ensuring tasks are completed within allocated timescale and that work is planned to the best utilise capacity.•To maintain the quality systems throughout the factory operations ensuring that the highest standards of product quality are maintained.•Regularly update the quality department on pending actions, completed projects or any quality related production issues.•Perform daily compliance patrol inspections in the machine shop and sub assembly areas to ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standard, and the latest documentation is being used.•Perform first off inspections as required.•Conduct Goods-in inspection as required.•Perform end of line random checks of product, packaging, labelling and quantity (weight)•Report non-conformances found using the compliance system of reporting. •Conduct metrology checks as required using the CMM equipment and hand measurement tools.•Ensure quality alerts are kept up to date and being adhered too before and during product manufacture.•Liaise with production on any quality issues that arise and agree actions to improve, maintain records
