A Contract position Outside IR35On-Site preferred, Hybrid - 3 days pw consideredOur client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support in the design of sub-modules for integration onto an unmanned aerial system (UAS), contributing to the development of practical and production-ready components.Key Responsibilities:Design mechanical sub-modules for integration onto UAS platformsDevelop detailed 3D models and engineering designs using CreoManage design files and documentation through the WINDCHILL systemUse the AAX plugin for Creo to support design and engineering activitiesContribute to the design of aerodynamic enclosures and radomesLiaise with manufacturing facilities to support the fast-turnaround production of partsHelp determine suitable materials and manufacturing methods for componentsSupport the delivery of robust, practical and aerospace-compliant mechanical solutionsJob Requirements:Experience in mechanical engineering within an aerospace or advanced engineering environmentProficiency in CreoUnderstanding of WINDCHILL file managementAbility to use the AAX plugin for CreoExperience designing aerodynamic enclosures and radomes would be advantageousUnderstanding of materials selection and manufacturing methodsSC would be ideal but not required (Security Clearable)Ability to liaise effectively with manufacturing teams and external suppliersStrong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skillsContract Opportunity:This is an ..... full job details .....
