We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to join a well-established groundworks contractor on a residential housing development in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in residential groundworks who can confidently oversee site operations, manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. The Role Supervising day-to-day groundworks operations on a residential housing development. Managing site gangs and coordinating subcontractors. Overseeing drainage, foundations, roads, sewers and associated infrastructure works. Ensuring all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programmes. Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site. Monitoring productivity and reporting progress to the Site Manager or Contracts Manager. Carrying out site inspections and ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards. Helping to resolve on-site issues and keeping the project running to programme. Requirements Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Groundworks Foreman or General Foreman. Strong experience within residential groundworks and housing developments. Good knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads and sewers. Ability to manage site operatives and coordinate daily activities. Relevant site qualifications, ideally SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
