Teaching Assistants - SEND School (Barnet)
Full-Time | -95115 per day (PAYE)| Start: After May Half Term

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist school in Barnet, and we are currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team after May half term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs, including autism and complex learning needs, in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs
• Work closely with class teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support
• Assist with both academic learning and life skills development
• Help manage behaviour positively and proactively
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their progress and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Strong communicators who can adapt their approach to meet individual needs
• Team players who are happy to collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff team
• Experienced in schools, care, or support work (desirable but not essential)
