Your key responsibilities are to maintain a vast range of automated process and packaging equipment. You will work along side a team of 6 shift engineers and 1 apprentice. My client has order books full and are expanding their team and have created 3 new positions to meet the upkeep and sales.Their site was fully upgraded 6 years ago and are always keen to make continuous improvements to ensure a smooth running of the production process.Main responsibilities of the maintenance engineer:- Carrying out mechanical fault finding, repairs, and planned maintenance across production equipment- Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and packaging machinery- Supporting breakdowns, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement work- Assisting with installation and upgrade projects across the site- Maintaining safety standards and ensuring all work complies with site proceduresWhat you will need as a maintenance engineer:- NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)- Proven experience in a manufacturing or FM
