We have an excellent opportunity for a Fabric Engineer to join a market-leading facilities management company at a high-quality commercial site based in Hackney, East London.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fabric Engineer looking to work in a professional environment, become part of an established MandE team, and develop their career within a growing organisation.The role is site-based, working a standard 37.5-hour Monday to Friday week, with overtime available.Fabric Engineer Duties As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring the building remains safe, functional and well maintained.Duties: Delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and routine inspections.Responding to reactive fabric maintenance issues and resolving faults efficiently.Carrying out daily site walkarounds and identifying defects or maintenance requirements.Completing general fabric works, including:Carpentry repairs to doors, hinges, locks, skirting and architraves.Patch plastering and plasterboard repairs.Painting and decorating.Basic plumbing, including tap replacements, minor leaks and unblocking.Minor electrical fabric support, such as lamp changes and socket faceplate replacements.Carrying out fire door inspections, adjustments and minor repairs.Completing minor tiling and flooring repairs.Carrying out sealant, mastic, gap filling and general aesthetic repairs.Replacing ceiling tiles and ..... full job details .....
