Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing - Planned Maintenance Burton On TrentFull-Time, Permanent positionSalary: Up to £50K + Car allowance and Benefits We are working with a leading Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Burton On Trent to deliver Planned Maintenance and Decarbonisation works.We are looking for a proven commercial professional with experience in social housing refurbishment programmes, ideally with knowledge of decarbonisation schemes and a comprehensive commercial understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost management, the CVR process as well as excellent client relationship skills.As the Quantity Surveyor for our client, some of your responsibilities will include:Control all expenditureReconcile cost/value reports and profit forecastsOn-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliersEnsuring value for money and financial assessmentsManage day to day cost control and monitoring and reportingProcess Sub contractor requests for payment via application and invoiceAttend project and company related meetingsEnsure timely cash flow managementMaintain and develop professional relationships with clients and customersEssential Quantity Surveyor Experience:Degree or other technical qualificationQuantity Surveying experience with a main contractorStrong commercial awarenessProven track record delivering contracts on time and within budgetContractual awarenessNegotiating, communication and presentation skill
