Principal Electrical Engineer

to join our clients growing team. You will provide expert technical, design, and contract management support across the electrical engineering discipline, ensuring projects meet both technical requirements and client expectations.Prepare specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documentation in line with project/client requirements.Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, regulations, and internal quality procedures.Deliver mechanical or electrical engineering design services for building and infrastructure projects.Engage with clients and external design teams to facilitate successful project outcomes.Develop project budgets based on client specifications and monitor costs to align with financial and schedule targets.Manage scope and schedule changes through the Change Control Process, ensuring proper planning and cost control.Mentor and support junior engineers to aid professional growth and project delivery.Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.Demonstrate awareness of Health and Safety policies and procedures and their impact on yourself and others.Ensure all mandatory compliance training is completed on time.Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses in line with company policy.Work collaboratively with other Principal Engineers to ensure quality and timely service delivery.Qualifications and TrainingBSc/BEng or HND/HNC in a relevant engineering disciplineExtensive experience in complex MEP design across various building typesProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)Familiarity with design software such as Dialux and AmtechSolid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, codes, and standards relevant to the industryEmployment type
