SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted in Tottenham. We are currently working with a specialist SEN school in Tottenham who are looking to recruit 3 x Learning Support Assistant. Our partner school support secondary aged students with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and additional special educational needs. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. About the Role As an Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other education professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. Roles will involve providing 1:1 support, small group support or classroom-based assistance, depending on the needs of the students and school. Key responsibilities include: Supporting secondary aged students with learning disabilities and additional needs. Providing individualised 1:1 and small group support. Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery. Supporting students with autism, communication difficulties and complex needs. Encouraging independence, confidence and social development. Supporting students with emotional regulation and behaviours that may challenge. Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other education professionals.
