Job details:

• Using reach and counterbalance trucks to un-load, load, move materials on and off racking.
• Wrapping, packing and un-packing finished and incoming goods. Mostly engineered products, crankshafts, blocks, heads and other engine parts etc.
• Use of component washing machines and packaging equipment.
• General housekeeping of workshop and routine machine maintenance/safety checks.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain standards of health, safety and hygine in the workplace including the yard areas.
• Some delivery and collection driving (under 3.5 tonne).
• Familiar with and engineering environment.
• Fork lift truck or reach truck, RTITB or ITSAR Licence reqd.
• Driving licence required.
• Willing to learn new skills
• Understand HSEQ Standards & requirements.
• Ensuring safe working systems and practices are followed using permit to work and lock out tag out systems
• Good standard in maths and english
• Have an ability to work to a high standard of quality.
• Attention to detail
• Wearing of appropriate PPE and observing health and safety rules
