Evoke Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular work, consistent hours, and the chance to secure a permanent position.

Shift Pattern

• Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday, with either Wednesday or Thursday as your rest day
• Average 48 hours per working week
• 12-hour shifts
• Start times from 4:30am

The Role

• Delivering goods to supermarket stores
• Back door deliveries
• All products are supplied on wheels, making unloading straightforward
• Providing a professional and courteous service at each delivery location
• Full induction and ongoing support provided

Training

During your first week, you will work alongside an experienced driver to familiarise yourself with the routes, delivery procedures, and day-to-day operation before driving independently.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers'' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
• Previous supermarket or store delivery experience is advantageous but not essential
