I am looking for an experienced Fitter / Tester to join their day-shift manufacturing team, carrying out mechanical assembly and testing to exacting engineering, customer and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Fitter / Tester with a strong mechanical background to work within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. You will work as part of an empowered team, ensuring equipment is assembled, tested and delivered on time while maintaining the required quality and safety standards. As a Fitter / Tester, your responsibilities will include:Producing aerospace products in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing instructionsCarrying out mechanical fitting and assembly activitiesTesting Life Support and Environmental Control Systems equipmentUndertaking pressure testing as requiredInterpreting engineering drawings, process layouts and associated manufacturing documentationCarrying out Operator Control of Quality (OCQ), including confirming assemblies meet the required customer and quality standardsEnsuring work is completed on time and to the required standardFollowing established company processes and proceduresMaintaining a consistently high standard of Health and SafetyWorking effectively within a ..... full job details .....
