The Stress Engineers will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams across our UK sites to develop an advanced aerospace structural solution.The team is responsible for the structural and thermal performance of military systems. And will deliver structural and thermal analysis expertise across the whole product lifecycle from studies in the early concept stage and detailed development of engineering designs to manufacturing concessions and in-service support.This role can provide opportunities to gain experience across a wide range of structural analysis disciplines, including but not limited to: Classical hand calculations; CAE Modelling (Static, Dynamic, Fatigue, Aeroelastics, Non-Linear, Impact, Kinematic), Qualification and Design Testing, Fault Investigation and Loads Derivation. - Skill and Experience; Ideally degree qualified in a relevant engineering / science discipline or have significant experience in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Analysis etc.).
